Community Nurses

The Community (District) Nursing Team provide nursing care for patients confined to home. To contact them please ring the surgery and we can pass messages on to them, or ring them direct on 01769 576352, you are able to leave a message if they are not in their office.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

  • Child Health Clinics - drop in clinic, Thursday, 09:30 – 12:00
  • Developmental Checks - by Invitation – you will be sent an appointment when your child is due.
  • Postnatal Support Group/ Under 1 group - please contact your HV for more information.
  • General Advice - a health visitor is usually available on the phone between 09:00 – 10:00, Monday –Friday on 01769 575176 otherwise please leave a message.

Hospice Nursing

Advice and counselling for patients with cancer at any stage and terminal care management. Please ring the surgery and we can give contact number.
